When theatres and concert halls around the country closed in 2020, the Australian Chamber Orchestra was one of the first arts companies to pivot to online operations. Wesfarmers Arts has been a long-standing supporter of the ACO, and our continued annual support of the orchestra was directed into producing the Wesfarmers Arts ACO HOMECAST program. Featuring performances streamed from the homes of the ACO’s musicians, education videos, music podcasts and curated Spotify playlists, the Wesfarmers Arts ACO HOMECASTS brought the orchestra into the homes of audiences in lockdown throughout Australia and around the world.

Wesfarmers’ regular annual support for the ACO and ACO Collective national concert program was re-directed during the year, to develop and fund ACO’s digital concert and education platform.
